My interest in graphic design started with exacto-knives and glue sticks. While having moved to digital tools, I remain inspired by the constraints and capabilities of specific materials, and I always start with a sketch.

San Francisco Public Press
I helped plan, develop, coordinate, and design the pilot edition of the San Francisco Public Press, a one-time experimental broadsheet newspaper. I worked on it from early stages planning typefaces and other styles that guided the final design, which was a team effort.

Ashcan Magazine
As the Art Director for Ashcan Magazine, I design and also assist and guide other designers working on this SF-based arts and culture zine. The third issue is currently out this summer.

San Francisco Symphony
At the SF Symphony I have designed marketing collateral, signs and banners, and advertising for the Symphony’s online store and Repeat Performance, the Symphony’s Fillmore Street resale shop.
